Greetings WOCers. This forum is dedicated to all you brave souls who have slogged through a year of SW gaming in my SW:WOC universe. I wanted to post a discussion thread to focus on what things you have liked about the campaign and what you would like to see different. That way, you can compliment my creativity and put me down at the same time. SWEET!
I personally, have really enjoyed the relationships that have formed. I really look forward to hanging out with you guys! Let me know your thoughts! |

I've really enjoyed being part of this game. Not only is it a fantastic game, but I've really enjoyed playing with all of you as players. I don't get out much these days, so I really treasure the social time we spend together.
Gushing aside, it's been a blast. Randy, you put a TON of time into the game and it really shows. I think you've struck a very good balance of encounter types and number per game session. I'm really happy with the game right now. I can't think of any specific issues, but I'll mull it over a bit and edit my post if I think of anything. Keep on keepin' on, Bro. ~m EDIT/ADDITION: I've enjoyed the mass encounters much more than I thought I would. I really like the integration of character-scale combat going on simultaneously with the mass combat. It would be really cool to see little things between the two interact a bit more with bonuses or something. Also, I'm really looking forward to tweaking out the mass combat groups a bit more to give them some unique abilities that will allow more tactics. Don't get me wrong here, I think the way you designed the past 2 encounters have been perfect for getting up to speed on the concept. I'm just really looking forward to seeing where it's all going! I think it would be better if we only had white bread for dinner. And not just me. All of us. :)
All seriousness aside, when are we going to think about the WOC publishing process? With all the work you have put into it you should think about sharing it with the world. |

All seriousness aside, when are we going to think about the WOC publishing process? With all the work you have put into it you should think about sharing it with the world. I know that Randy is concerned with editing and I would offer my own (and Margaret's) services as editors. Of course, this could only be for material already presented, but since this has taken us over a year to complete, anyone using the published modules would take at least 6 months to get through the material we've already played through. I believe we would also need to make the material consistent so that skill encounters from the earlier part of the campaign should be brought up to the current level and any required house rules that evolved over time should be made consistent throughout the material. Again, I would be happy to assist in this. |
